As my big sis Zara mentioned last week, yes…the daylight saving has started in New Zealand ! We are enjoying a longer day - wake up early and go out early :-)
Today, while mummy and daddy were out, Zara brought a biiiiiiiiiig bird to the house. She left it in mummy’s office. When mummy and daddy came back, I wasn’t at home…But, Zara was there. She told me that they were surprised to see how big it was ! Ummmmm, she showed off…ummmm, someday it will be my turn ;-)
During school holidays, daddy is very busy with repairs. Lots of instruments have arrived at DR TOOT. Clarinets, flutes, saxophones, euphoniums, trumpets…etc. Daddy seems to be a very happy man in his workshop - listening to the radio and repairing instruments. Next time, I will bring in a bigger bird for you, daddy !!!
This week, a few instruments have found new homes. Kawai tenor sax has gone to Gisborne, mummy’s favourite Yanagisawa Elimona alto sax has gone to Christchurch, and Yamaha Custom clarinet has gone to a mysterious buyer….Zara is a bit mysterious…
Now daddy is growing his beard and looks like his brother (I came from his home originally), but I don’t remember anything as I was so little. Daddy said that my real mum was ugly and dad is unknown…I guess that’s life. If I am happy now, I think that’s all that matters :-) My curiosity is now birds…BIG BIRD !!!...one day…hehehehe :-)))
PS. Daddy says I am a “poser”…I don’t think so ;-)
