Practice, Practice, Practice…

Our daddy, DR TOOT was waiting for this day…a tuba has finally arrived at DR TOOT.  Monday, daddy’s old friend came to our place with a tuba.  He was soooo happy to see her and the tuba.

Since then, daddy practices everyday – in the morning before starting repairs and after teaching at night time…Sorry about the noise, neighbours J  Daddy was once a professional tuba player.  He used to play with NZSO, APO and Radio NZ.  And many TV and movie tracks.  Daddy was also featured with his tuba in a Smarties’ commercials.

We are cats at DR TOOT and we know many different sounds.  I guess not many cats have the opportunity to hear a tuba sound so close. Ummmm, I must say that the low sounds are bit scary, daddy J…they scare mummy too !

It’s been pretty busy at DR TOOT with repairs coming and going.  Speaking coming and going, we have got to do something about Fluffy.  He is still coming around and claiming this place as his !  Rico and I are united in this, that we will fight Fluffy to the end.  Watch your back, Fluffy !!!

Did you see the picture of Rico last week ?  That’s how he looks most of the time.  As I have said many times, he eats and sleeps.  It is good that you finally get to see him sleep.  By the way…I took that picture J

The mornings now are lighter and evenings are darker.  This week we felt like winter had come.  On Tuesday, it was so cold in the evening that I let Rico shared my bed.  This proves that I am unselfish and incredibly kind.

Last night we had a little person in my house.  She was Philippa, daddy’s youngest daughter.  I wasn’t sure at first how to take it.  I am used to more mature people and this little one came as a bit of a surprised.  She wanted to pick up me and Rico all the time.  Once or twice is fine….but give me a break !!!  It must be that I am so cute.

School holidays start at the end of next week.  Already instruments are coming in and bookings are made, so be quick to get your instrument in for its TLC.  Looking forward to greeting you as you come to DR TOOT !
