A Ding-a-Ling….for the Ding-a-Ling

Yes it’s official. Alfa now has a collar and two bells on it. This is what cats get when they come of age. Alfa’s birthday was a little while ago and she turned 1. This now gives her the right to wear a bell, collar and name tag, so that she can remember her name. Rico as you may remember had trouble remembering what and who he was. Now Alfa runs around the house sounding like one of Santa’s Reindeer. So sad and pathetic.

It’s been a great week at DR TOOT’S. A flute, trumpet, bassoon, and oboe, have all found new homes this week. The oboe is going all the way to Australia while the others are all here in NZ. One of our pre loved mouthpieces was off to Italy. Wow My daddy gets around….mummy wishes that she could go to Italy. The repair shop too has been buzzing. Many repairs are coming in and many more are booked. It is that time of year when mummy and daddy get down and really work harder then usual. They are lucky because a lovely person is coming to work with us in mid December. She will stay with us and help daddy in the shop. She plays flute, so I am looking forward to hear the flute played well…..daddy isn’t that good at playing the flute.

A house is a house and a home is a home. You make a house a home. Mummy and daddy have been busy all weekend doing gardening around the house. New trees have been planted and flowers put in pots. Everything looks so pretty. Because of my breeding and class, I do appreciate these things. Alfa runs around outside…on a leash, hahahaha, to see the gardens. It’s so funny seeing her on a leash….so Alfa J

More instruments have arrived from Japan and should clear from Customs in the next day or so. These include a couple of tenors and one alto sax. Some interesting cases arrived on Friday. These were flute and alto sax flight cases in silver. Wow so cool. Also some lovely leather saxophone neck straps with DR TOOT stamped on them. Oh so classy.

Speaking of classy….it’s time for me to say good night until next time. Only a few weeks till Christmas, so make sure Santa knows that you have been good and not done an Alfa…Nighty night!!!
