One day, our mummy asked us if we would like to start our own blog...we said "Yes!!!" So, here is our world at DR TOOT. Our daddy, DR TOOT is not a doctor for humans or not for us either...for wind musical instruments, such as flutes, saxophones, clarinets, piccolos, trumpets, cornets, trombones, euphoniums, french horn...etc ! DR TOOT repairs brass & woodwind musical instruments, sells pre-loved (used/secondhand) instruments and teaches at home in Howick, Auckland, New Zealand.

Attacking Christmas Tree
It's been hot and nice weather in Auckland. I enjoy outside a lot...with leash, of course :) Good thing is that now I have a longer leash, so I can walk around more ! Zara said to me that she doubts if I can get a Christmas present from Santa...because she thinks I've been naughty. I know, I had knocked down a Christmas tree a couple of times and broken the decoration, which mummy and daddy were not happy about it...hehehehe.
Well, mummy and daddy seem to be very very busy. Daddy's workshop is really full of instruments - every customers come to see daddy is surprised to see the mountains :)
This week, a few instruments have left for their new homes. One of trumpets has fond a new home through our website in Hamilton. Lots of customers visited DR TOOT on Saturday - a customer with two friends from Tauranga has left with a Yamaha Custom Xeno trumpet. I heard that he played very well, and he loves the sound. Then, a family came to see daddy. Two sisters that played saxophone and clarinet. They left happily with one of the clarinets, Buffet E13 and one of the alto saxophones, a Yamaha YAS32. As mummy's PA, I greeted them well and I am pleased to see their happy face :)
Then, Saturday night (Yep, daddy was very busy indeed :) he had a concert with AWO (Auckland Wind Orchestra). Mummy was there with her friend. Mummy told me that It was a full house and a great concert. After the concert, we had some guests...Zara and I didn't see anyone...because we were locked into mummy and daddy's bed room upstairs. Zara and I had a quiet night together on the bed and heard lots of laugh from downstairs.
Today, a new Japanese assistant has arrived at DR TOOT. She will help daddy's work - cleans and polishes instruments. She seems to like cats, so that's goooooood :)
Well, Zara and I had late night last night ...mummy and daddy are too. It's been a long day and I don't have much time to impress Santa. So, I will go to bed early and stay away from the tree. Somehow, I don't think that anybody will believe that the Christmas tree attacked me...oh well...good night...
