Looooong Summer Days

It's been very nice and hot weather in Auckland.  I enjoy this long summer outside.  My big sister, Zara thinks that I look funny with leash...who cares ? J  Sometimes mummy and daddy let me go out without leash and I like it very much.  I run and chase Zara !  I jump on her and play each other...that's really fun J

Daddy seems to be very busy with repairs at his workshop.  Some clarinets, saxophones and flutes came in for repairs and services.  This week, a Yamaha tenor sax, a Yamaha trumpet and a Yamaha clarinet have found new homes and left DR TOOT.

The Yamaha professional tenor sax YTS62 with Custom G1 Neck has gone to a nice young man who live in Takapuna.  He visited DR TOOT with his mother and he tried all tenor saxes we have.  He has fallen in love with the YTS62 and left with it happily…jolly goooood J A gentleman from Albany visited DR TOOT the other day and picked up a Yamaha YTR332.  He wanted to learn trumpet !  Another customer in Whakatane phoned daddy and purchased one of Yamaha clarinet YCL 251 for her daughter.  We hope that she will enjoy the clarinet as much as I enjoy my freedom J

Well, I have to tell you about new arrivals…mummy and daddy have purchased a few pre-loved instruments and they are arriving soon at DR TOOT.  A Yamaha soprano sax YSS475, a Yamaha alto sax YAS24II and a Yamaha YTS32.  Later, Altus flute 1007E, Yamaha oboe 421, Yamaha cornet YCR3330S and Stomvi Elite trumpet…..wow….I guess no other cat can spell that…...ummmmm, except Zara J

DR TOOT is now on a magazine called ‘Mouthpiece’ in New Zealand.  Mummy has arranged an advert every month.  Funny to see daddy’s face on the magazine ;-). The magazine is for Brass Bands and Brass Band players. It looks great. Maybe Zara and I can get our faces in the magazine !?

I will relax after this…already had a yummy dinner with Zara. Daddy has just come home after doing some jobs on the shore and picking up a couple of instruments for repair. Well, the family again is complete, so time to say ciao ciao, until next time…. J
