Who's in the workshop ???

March has started, and Zara said to me "It's officially autumn !".  Ummmm, it's still hot like summer here.  I am not complaining because I just love the weather and enjoy it very much....outside with my friend, Leash...you know J

Since last week, I sometimes don't see my mummy in the office. Well, DR TOOT has been very busy and mummy has been helping daddy in the workshop. She has been cleaning and polishing saxophones, clarinets and flutes. Zara said "Like old days...".  Mummy told me that she remembers these old days when she started working with daddy.

Some instruments have arrived at DR TOOT, have been serviced and listed on our website. A couple of instruments did not stay here for a long ;) A Yamaha alto saxophone 24ll has found a new home in Tauranga and an Altus flute 1007E has gone to a new owner in Auckland, who had purchased a Yamaha flute a few years ago from us and she has upgraded her flute. She was soooo happy to see the flute and liked me a lot too J

Daddy will be playing the tuba with Manukau Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, so he has been practicing at home. Zara and I are used to the sound of tuba....ummm, scary sound !  I feel the darkness...just like Zara's eyes...really scary J The sound is rich and low. The piece daddy is playing is Tchaikovsky Symphony number 6. Daddy is in every movement and has a lot to do. This weekend we have seen little of daddy because he was rehearsing with them. I want to go to the concert, but it's a no cat zone. Maybe I will hide in the tuba bell....mmmmeeeoooowww J
