Exams are over!!!!

My fellow subjects. Yes it is I Zara here to give you the news and views of DR TOOT this week….and what a week!!! This week we saw sales, tools and the Trinity College exams for daddy’s students. Now where shall I begin???

This week started very busy as always. Accessories are always going out the door. In the morning after mummy cleans out Alfa’s POO POO box, mummy starts the working day, packing up the orders made the night before. We see reeds, oils and many other accessories being packed and shipped off to many destinations.  I wonder if we can send Alfa somewhere around the world…one way! One of the major sales this week was a Selmer Super Balanced Action Tenor Sax that went to a friend of mummy’s and daddy’s in Wellington. He flew up from Wellington on Thursday and took a liking to this beautiful saxophone.  Daddy is working on his other Selmer Tenor sax. Clever man our daddy. J

A few goodies arrived this week for DR TOOT. First was an amazing  B&S Baritone Saxophone.  It looks really cool and is listed on our website and Facebook. Next was our long awaited parcel from Argentina. Yes, you guessed it. Gonzalez Reeds. We now have heaps more reeds in stock, but already, mummy is making another order for more. They are just so popular. And finally, two boxes of tools arrived for daddy from America. Daddy acts like it is Christmas time when he receives his tools. Another thing arrived in the post was the music daddy will be playing for the NZ POPS. Like I said earlier….what a week.

Finally the week ended with four of daddy’s pupils doing their Trinity College exams. I can not tell you, how proud daddy is of his students. They work so hard and give all they have to give a great performance. Well done you guys!!!! Daddy met the examiner afterwards. He is a famous trumpeter from the UK and he also plays the tuba. His name is James and this is his first time to come to NZ. I like him because he and his wife have 5 cats. That’s right ….5 cats J It’s wonderful that these five cats have two people to look after their every need. That’s the way it should be. Daddy and a few friends went out for dinner and drinks last night and daddy didn’t come home till after 1am. I was not happy as I was not able to say goodnight to him…AGAIN!

I am not one who holds bad feelings. Tonight I will let daddy keep me warm and I will sleep for awhile on his legs. Lucky daddy... Good night all, and love the ones you own. Till later…meow meow meow J
