Where do I begin?? The new shop is almost complete. All we are waiting for is the main door to the shop to be installed. This should happen in about 8-9 days time. In the meantime our customers have to enter through the main house as they always did before. This is a bit of a problem as Alfa is pretty quick to sneak behind customers and enter the shop. The shop is an Alfa free zone!! For me, I come and go as I please. I am Queen Zara and not a simple House Cat 😹
The week started off with a sales of an Alpha (not Alfa), Clarinet. These are lovely clarinets that come with a cool backpack as the case. A mum with her two boys came in to have a trumpet serviced and also looking for a great clarinet. At DR TOOT, we were able to help of both. The service on the trumpet was done later that day and the older boy received the clarinet when they came in. Both boys had an Instagram photo with me. I am so beautiful and important 😺 They did see Alfa but….well enough said 😼
On
Thursday, a beautiful Yamaha 311 Flute found a new home in Hastings. This flute
and a Yamaha French Horn had only just arrived this week. Wow that is a fast
turnover. The French Horn was serviced on Friday and BOOM…it too has found a
new home in the South Island. French Horns always go so fast. If you are
looking for a French Horn, I would advise you ask Mummy (Mia) to have a look
out for you. As you can see….they don’t hang around very long !
This was the last week of the school holidays and Term 4 starts tomorrow. This year, 2020 has been a very odd year and we have seen a lot of mummy and daddy at home. It’s been nice but I hope that in the future we will see a little less of them so I can enjoy more of my privacy. Now I just have to figure a way to see less of Alfa…I’m working on it 🙀
The days are
getting longer and much warmer. Daddy too is feeling the heat. He says his
clothes are getting smaller, but I think he is getting bigger. He is thinking
of eating less and exercising more. Let’s see. Don’t tell daddy that I said
this. I wonder when Alfa goes on a diet??? 😼
Oh well it is time to take my
slim, sleek body for a little cat nap. I do admit that Alfa looks healthier
than I do….don't tell her that. Till next time then. Be like ZARA!!! 😻😺😸
