We had a pretty crazy week this week…. On Tuesday, my daddy’s music mentor (ex-NZSO principal trumpet) came up from New Plymouth and stayed for lunch.
He and daddy talked for a long time. Daddy always talks for a long time anyway :-) Daddy’s teacher had a funny short white smoky, stinky thing hanging out of his mouth. It made a bad smell and hurt my beautiful round eyes. Rico and I did not like it. Cats are smarter than humans…we don’t smoke !!!
Danger lurked in our back yard. Two lumberjacks cut down and took away few trees. It was soooooooooo noisy !!! Baby Rico came to me for protection. I’m starting to like Rico a little bit because he knows who is the boss….Queen Zara !
Mummy and daddy had two very nice phone calls from happy customers. One customer said his flute was so shinny that he needed sunglasses to play it ! The other customer thought daddy gave her the wrong clarinets back. They looked brand new and play better than new. Congratulations, mummy and daddy !!!
Today daddy has been away most of the day. He was with Heather and all his students that are doing an exam next month. Heather is a piano player and one of daddy’s bosses….the other is mummy ;-) Daddy complains that woman rule his life - that’ fair because I rule Rico’s !
Ahhhh, enough about me…no not enough about me. It’s Rico’s turn next week. He will have his say.
