It is a long weekend here New Zealand. We are having beautiful weather here…I kick Rico up early every morning and we go out together :-)
Waohhhhh…what a week ! Mummy and daddy got the news they were waiting for on Thursday morning. The Yamaha pre-loved instruments have arrived !!! Such an excitement for humans…so so for us :-) They left us behind as usual, and off to the airport they went.
When they came back two hours later, they had two large boxed full of flutes, clarinets, saxophones and trumpet. Most exciting for us was empty boxes – they were big, private and we will be able to have one each ! So, Rico stay out of mine !!!

Mummy and daddy have been working so hard to get these lovely instruments ready for my dear NZ friends ;-) Already one of them has gone to a good home.
Just to add to the excitement, on Friday morning mummy grabbed an Air New Zealand special deal ticket. She is off to the land where the instruments and she came from. In the wee hours on Thursday morning, when I am awake and Rico is not…mummy is off, for one week and one day.
This worries me because I don’t think daddy can prepare our meals like mummy can. Rico is very worried as we know, food came first. Please mummy don’t be gone long !
My subjects, I’m so sorry this blog is one day late. Last night mummy and daddy had friends over for dinner. It was so late and I do require my beauty sleep. So, early I rise to give you the news.
I think Rico is a sleep, I’m not sure. If it weren’t for me, he would eat and sleep all day. I am his personal trainer ! Well, it’s time to finish and catch a mouse or two.
