It’s about being responsible….

Good evening to all my subjects! It’s been a very interesting week:-) Early this week, daddy’s friend, Mr Johnny Williams came to our house with a world famous flute maker, Mr John Lehner.

Daddy and Mr Lehner talked about different flutes and different repair techniques. Daddy had heard about Mr Lehner, but had never met him. It was such an honour.

You might have read Rico’s talk about being so mature last week. Well…he really had mummy and daddy worried !!! After dinner on Thursday night, Rico and I went out for our usual after dinner play outside. I, being the more responsible one, came back inside at about 8pm.

Rico didn’t. At 9pm, mummy and daddy started calling for him. At 10pm, mummy and daddy still call for him. At 11pm, mummy and daddy again called for him, and put me to bed alone, then putting themselves to bed.

They left the hallway light on and the cat door open. Rico stayed out all night...
Mummy and daddy, being very worried – walked up and down the street at the early hours of the next morning. At about 6.30am, mummy, daddy and I were at the back of the house with four ducks, when, like a rocket came Rico from next door !

Mummy and daddy were so happy to see him...I have mixed feelings. We found out later that Rico stayed the night in our neighbour’s locked garage. What a silly boy !!! For the rest of the day, he slept and slept and slept on mummy and daddy’s bed. So much for Rico being mature, hahahahahaha....

Mummy and daddy have been working very hard on a couple of clarinets which they will feature on TradeMe soon. Many repairs are still coming in and going out, and the owners are greeted with my blessings ;-) Remember, school starts in a few weeks time, so if you haven’t brought your instruments in, you will need to do so soon !

You are always welcome at DR TOOT !!!
