I have issues…I mean I have issues with Rico ! He sounded so cutie cutie last Sunday. Let me tell you that rat faced, over weighted, over opinionated cat, stayed out till late hours that night. Here I was enjoying my beauty sleep, when all of a sudden rat face came in after 11pm and woke me up….
What a week at DR TOOT’s. Our long awaited instruments and accessories have finally arrived from the birth place of our mummy. Eight instruments and many accessories arrived on our door step on Friday. It was like Christmas here with mummy and daddy unwrapping instruments and looking so happy of the great condition they are in. I know little about instruments but there were some beautiful saxophones and a lovely clarinet amongst the goodies.
Thursday started off a little unusual. Rico and I didn’t know why mummy and daddy wouldn’t let us out for our morning pee pee. At about 8.30am, they took us to the Howick Vet for our second shot of vaccination. Rico as you can imagine was again freaking out. There is little left to cut off Rico…and what little there is….is not worth cutting off. In the end, I was the first to have the shot, showing Rico in his true colours as a pussy cat. I am Queen Zara !
A customer yesterday came to pick up her flute. She came all the way from Titirangi. She wanted meet us as she has read so much about us. But to her disappointment, we were not about. For this I am truly sorry. I can’t be everywhere and there are so many to see one, and I can’t be there all the time for all :-)
Later this week, we received a lovely post card from our neighbours. They have been away in the South Island for almost a month and they really really miss seeing me….and Rico. The postcard was of a white Kiwi and was addressed to daddy, mummy, ZARA…and Rico. Again it is clearly shown that I am a head of Rico.
Well, my friends, it’s time to go. It’s getting very very busy here, and I suggest that if you haven’t yet booked your lovely instrument in for a service, you better do it soon. I, of course, will be here to greet you, and welcome you to our castle. I will try to make sure that Rico is not about, but no promises ;-)
