There is no place like home…

Meowwwww…..I am sooooo happy to be back :-))) Where ? My home !!! Beh, mummy and daddy went to Wellington for the weekend. They put me and big sis Zara at a cat hotel near our house on Friday.

It was fine, but we prefer our home, of course :-) I couldn’t sleep well or Zara didn’t sleep much either. I was so pleased to see mummy and daddy today when they came to pick us up….bene bene.

After we got home, I sat down on the floor and run to the bathroom….yep, mummy turned on the tap for me and I drunk some nice water from the tap :-))) Like me, it has to be fresh !!!

Daddy told us that they had a very very good time in Wellington – it was nice weather and walked around a lot. They met some people who are really nice. I would like to give a shout out to Gary at Music Services in Wellington. He gave mummy and daddy a wonderful tour of their amazing shop….Grazie, Gary !

My daddy (who is not too shy) talked with mummy to a lovely couple from Canberra, Australia. They sat next to mummy and daddy in a very lovely French bistro on Cuba Street.

Beh, I must say before I forget…it was not me ! I mean the bad smell Zara mentioned last week…it was ZARA !!! She did huge poo inside of our house (corner of the dining room) and made daddy & mummy disgusted. She didn’t want to talk about it or she says that she’s already forgotten…..mmmmmmm, no one could forget that smell !!!

Before heading to Wellington, daddy has finished a big job on an American tenor sax from Hasting. When it arrived at DR TOOT, it was really damaged – rusted, bent and unplayable. But daddy has changed all pads and corks, and we heard daddy played it easily…it was a big and deep sound. Well done, daddy ;-)

As you can gather, I didn’t get much sleep over the past two nights. There is no place like home, even if Zara is part of the home…
