Young, innocent and always wise…that’s me !

It’s been gorgeous, the days here in Auckland, and we are having a beautiful autumn. Yes, the daylight savings have finished in New Zealand. By the time 6.30pm, it is already dark outside. We spend more time in the evening at home.

I hate to admit, but Rico is quite warm. With these cooler nights, I have been allowing Rico to snuggle up to me in my basket. He is so young and gets scared at the littlest of things.

Recently Rico has been spending a lot of time inside. Between you and me, and inside words I hear that Fluffy has given him the dump ;-) This is sad for him, but, very understandable. I mean, it’s Rico…..

Mummy and daddy have been working very hard on instruments over the school holidays. Lots of customers came to DR TOOT during the week. I give my support whenever I can, but over all, looking after Rico really takes up a lot of my time.

This week two of our pre-loved instruments have found new homes both here in Auckland and in Nelson. It makes me and mummy and daddy very happy to know that they have gone to good homes.

Yesterday morning a nice couple came over to see me and mummy and daddy. He is a music teacher and they have recently married and are living in Howick. He picked up his old flute from repairs, and my daddy gave it a new kiss of life. He was a very happy….of course !

My subjects, next week’s blog I have agreed to share the blog (even though Rico’s turn) to celebrate one year of our amazing blog. We will both speak and I will keep a watchfull eye on what Rico has to say for himself. I hope you will all enjoy it and I look forward to your wonderful company next week.

PS The beauty in the photo is me :-)))
