“Don’t do a Rico!” that is said at DR TOOT when something very silly happened. When daddy looks out the window with a blank look…that’s Rico, when mummy tells daddy to do something, that she already told him a million times but forgot…that’s a Rico. You see things that are not normal or odd…is Rico ! Enough about him !
I am looking more and more beautiful. Daddy tells me everyday how pretty and gorgeous I am and of course I believe everything daddy says. I know I have put on a little extra weight, but so has daddy :-) We are so like :-)))
This week has been the last week of the school holidays. Many of our fine subjects have brought in their loved instruments for my daddy, DR TOOT to service and give new life to. Mummy and daddy are always so busy, but not too busy to look after me……oh, yes and Rico.
On Friday, there was such excitement at DR TOOT. Three saxophones arrived from Japan. Daddy couldn’t wait (again!) for them to be delivered on Monday and rushed madly to the airport. When he came home he unwrapped them and there was paper and bubble wrap all over the office. Mummy was not very happy, as she had just cleaned the office….poor daddy.
Anyways, back to the saxophones, one of them was bigger than the other two. This was called a tenor sax. Mummy told me that this wasn’t just any tenor sax, but a vintage YTS61, that is over forty years old but looks so new. I hope I look as good as that when I am over forty ;-)
Within 24 hours of it arriving, mummy and daddy serviced and cleaned all the saxophones. One of saxophones didn’t stay at DR TOOT too long. It was already in the hands of another man. He had requested this saxophone and was very very pleased with it. He made a beautiful mellow sweet sound. Well done, René ;-)
Well, it’s back to normal, if it’s ever normal, from tomorrow. Daddy teaching, mummy being bossy, Rico…being Rico and I looking as beautiful and majestic as always. So, be cool at school, at work and at home !!! The days are getting longer and warmer here. Catch you in two weeks…meow ;-)
