If you live at DR TOOT, you will never know what will happen in a day…this week, we had some visitors as usual, but always something different :-)
A familiar face came in with her son’s alto saxophone. She didn’t know what was wrong with it, just that he couldn’t make any sounds. Our daddy, DR TOOT had looked at it and fixed it just in a minute. The gooseneck (strange name!) had a problem. Ummmm…., daddy knows everything :-)
A gentleman, who visits DR TOOT regularly, brought an old giant metal snail…it’s called a tuba…hehehehe. It came without a case, so it made my curiosity biiiiiiiiig ;-) I tried to hide inside of the tuba, but I suddenly remember daddy’s famous “monkey story”. When he was young and playing the tuba, he had a pet monkey named Paddy. One night he left the tuba in his bed room and the monkey fell in and got stuck inside of the tuba ! He had to bring a tuba with monkey to a vet to rescue the monkey…oh mio dio, scaaaaarrryyyy.
Another day, we had visitors from a TV production company. I was out, so I didn’t see them but Zara told me that daddy was very interested in the project (cannot tell you guys – biiiiiiiiiiig secret).
Also three saxophones have arrived from Japan. There are lots of saxophones in stock at DR TOOT now ! One of the three, only stayed with us for a couple of days before finding a new home out in Kumeu.
We had lots of rain in Auckland again. I go out, come back and eat - mummy chases me up with a big bath towel. She dries me up and I go out again, then I get wet and come back and eat…mummy dries me up again :-) Beh, she finally closed a cat door early afternoon, so I had to stay at home with big sis Zara :-(((
Some of daddy’s students had their exams on Friday. I am sure they all did well and I know that daddy was very proud of them all.
Today is a mixture of rain and sunshine and I am very sleepy. Daddy got up at 3.00am to watch the rugby and woke Zara and I up. All Blacks won, so I guess it’s OK ;-)
