On Monday, a nice gentleman and his wife and a boy came in to pick up their flute repair, but after talking to mummy and daddy, they walked away with a shinny beautiful pre-loved Yamaha flute ! This was a much better flute then the one daddy repaired for them. The little boy was very happy and made nice tooting sounds:-) I know this because I am the one that is always there to listen and support….where is Rico !??? …who cares !!!
On Friday, a similar thing happened ! A mummy and daddy came in to drop off a saxophone for repair and ended up walking away with a beauuuuuuuuuutiful Yamaha professional alto sax :-) Isn’t it funny that some people walk in with one instrument and leave with two. I wish I was the only cat (instrument) and we got rid of the other cat (instrument). Do I sound a bit harsh ?
Yesterday, one of daddy’s friends, Drew came in and tried an old Selmer Paris Mark Vl alto sax that daddy has just re-padded and is selling. I have never heard an instrument like this before. It is very rare and we are very lucky to have one in stock…so daddy says.
Later that day, a familiar face came in. Rene’ bought a pre-loved alto sax from mummy and daddy, and this time brought in his tenor sax to get re-tooted ! He is a nice man and I think was starting to fall in love with the silver Yamaha tenor we have in stock ;-)
Today marks the end of the school term break where daddy’s and my students start their lessons again. They so miss me and it pleases me to bring happiness back in their lives. I am special, but not the sort of special Rico is. You know what I mean… :-)
