Don’t talk too much…I love to listen !?

Mummy told me that there is an old saying “Speech is silver, Silence is golden”.  Daddy seems to talk too much sometimes, so mummy has to remind him to not talk too much.  I’ve seen a TV commercial…a Perfect Italiano perfect man says “I love to listen…” Ummmmm, I wonder daddy will love to listen what mummy says…NOOOOO, I don’t think so J

As I am a daughter of DR TOOT, I know daddy’s concentration is like a magic.  Once he concentrates, he can do anything !  A very old wooden Buffet S1 clarinet arrived at DR TOOT and a customer requested to have it completely overhauled in two days.  New pads had just arrived in from Italy, so it was a perfect timing.  Daddy was stuck in his workshop…the clarinet now has got her life back and looks fresh and young again !

This week, lots of trumpets visited DR TOOT.  One of them has lost one of it’s  valve buttons, another one has got a missing trigger, another trumpet has  broken valves and  another trumpet came to see DR TOOT for it’s check ups.  Daddy, I can see a looooong queue at workshop J

As Rico mentioned last week, DR TOOT is having a big Winter Sale on TradeMe.  Mummy has listed lots of goodies, and Rico and I are watching how much the prices are going up from $1 reserve JJJ  We are hoping “going up, up, up !” together everyday J

A few instruments have left for their new homes.  Daddy and mummy wish they will have good life at new homes. There was a tenor horn, cornet, alto sax, clarinet and a soprano sax that said goodbye and will be enjoying their new homes. 

Yesterday, daddy had a concert with AWO in the city.  He played his new tuba “Effie” and had a great time.  I guess he was a bit nervous (maybe !?) since it’s been 15 years since he last played with a group..  Daddy, you looked a very handsome in a black suite and bow tie…I reckon J

The fire is on, belly full and it’s time to curl up and say good night…..life is good for me at DR.TOOT.
