This week started as Queen’s Birthday. My big sis Zara still thinks that is her birthday…yeahhhh, she believes that she has two birthdays every year…no wonder, she is old J
The afternoon on Queen’s Birthday, we had a few customers visited DR TOOT. A nice lady came to pick her gorgeous Powell flute, and later on a family came to purchase a pre-loved Yamaha trumpet. I saw that a little boy was playing a trumpet – amazing, he can play ! Ummmm, I wish I can play something….maybe one day…maybe better to play with birds J
On Tuesday, I came back from outside before lunch time. Then, I saw that two gentleman were in daddy’s workshop. Mummy was standing outside the room and she was watching them anxiously. They were doing a photo shoot of DR TOOT. Daddy was pretending (oh, I can tell !) to fix a saxophone. They wanted to take some pictures of daddy with Effie (his tuba) near Howick Beach ! I wanted to be in the photos too…heheheheh. Anyway, daddy appeared on a free local paper “Howick and Pakuranga Times” on the Thursday issue.
I was a bit suspicious…mummy and daddy were talking each other and I’ve heard lots of words, like…” Osaka , Japan , one week, cattery…” Beh, Zara has told me that they are going to Japan next week…at first, I did not believe what Zara said. Then mummy told me that mummy and daddy are going to Japan for a week. I have to stay with Zara…I did not want to stay with her in cattery again…this time it will be for a week…NO WAY !!!!!!!!!! Beh, good thing is that we don’t need to go to a cattery….yeeeaaahhhhhh, mmmmeeeeooooowwww J We can stay here with Uncle Bruce ! Yep, Uncle Bruce is coming to take care of the house and me….Oh, and Zara JJJ
Daddy received a couple of phone calls from a lady in Wellington this week. She wanted to purchase one of our saxophones. After she talked to daddy on a phone, she decided to buy our best seller sax, Yamaha YAS32 ! The lucky saxophone has found a new home and is ready to leave for Wellington tomorrow.
Yesterday, DR TOOT had the first students’ concert at Uxbridge Gallery. Over 70 people showed up. Mummy and daddy told me that our students had played very well. Daddy is so proud of them and very pleased with the concert.
Better to go now…I want to stay with mummy longer before she is away. I know I am a mummy’s boy, you know !? I miss her already…I wonder if I can survive without her…ummmmmm, Big Question J
