Rugby, Rugby, Rugby…..

All we get now is Rugby on the T.V. Rico and I watch, but don’t really understand what it’s all about. My Daddy sits with snacks and beer watching the games. Last night it was All Blacks against the French side. Daddy said that the All Blacks made Pate out of the French. Earlier in the week the Japanese were against the Tonga team. Daddy said that the Tongan team made Sushi with the Japan team….It’s too much for me !

DR TOOT  has had a variety of repairs come in this week. A Japanese lady came in with her lovely Buffet clarinet. Many pads and corks were replaced and of course I checked to make sure all was fine and up to my daddy’s and my high standards. It was good for mummy too as she was able to talk to her in Japanese.

Another customer was a gentleman who bought a euphonium awhile ago and got his first valve stuck! Daddy had just recently received a new tool from the States that did the job perfectly. He and Daddy were both very happy.!

On Monday, many of DR.TOOTs  students had their exams with their musical instruments. Daddy teaches trumpet, sax and trombone. They did their exams here in Howick and daddy was so proud of them. Rico and I wished them luck, but we know they didn’t need it. We will wait now for the results…

It’s time to go now and curl next to our new fire. On Tuesday we got a new fire installed in our home. It’s bigger and warmer and large enough for Rico and I to share. Rico as usual trys to hog most of the fire. Poor Rico…such issues..
