Talk about an action week! So many things have happened. Daddy (DR.TOOT) has been busy in his work shop repairing saxophones, clarinets, flutes and many other windy instruments. I don’t know how he does it. One moment he is working on a saxophone and the next he is removing a very stuck swab out of a clarinet. He is my hero. I am always daddy’s girl. Where would he be….without me?
This week, two beautiful saxophones went out the door to one customer. He came to look at the sexy silver Yanagisawa Tenor and left with that tenor and a gorgeous Yanagisawa 901 alto sax. He was a very happy man and left with two wonderful instruments. Earlier in the week a Yamaha tenor sax left for Blenheim and yesterday a clarinet found a new home with a lovely customer who has purchased many instruments off us and is a cat lover.
It’s the last week of the school holidays and it all starts again on Tuesday. Tomorrow is Labour Day so no work for daddy. At the end of this week daddy has a concert at the Uxbridge Arts Centre at 1pm to 2pm., featuring his students. This will be fun and everyone is welcome to come along and listen.
Today is a special day here in New Zealand . The All Blacks (my team) is playing against the French (Rico’s team) in the Grand Final in the 2011 Rugby World Cup. I am so excited and we will all be having drinks and snack for the game. Earlier today Rico brought in a half eaten mouse for us to nibble on, but mummy and daddy were not impressed and out it went. Not Fair!!
It’s time to rest now and ready myself for the game tonight. Be good everyone and Go The All Blacks!!!
