Have you been naughty or nice??

Hello all my people. It’s me again. It was two nights before Christmas and all through the house, no creature was stirring, not even a mouse….because I would eat it! To live here at the House of Toot, you have to earn the right. I because I am Zara has earned that right a long time ago. Alfa is still working at it. Well, there is no mouse here, but tomorrow, Daddy’s children are all staying at our home for 3 days, and 2 nights. I don’t know about this….. I am not the sort of cat that is easy with many people here. Let’s just see how it goes……

I haven’t seen much of daddy this week. My daddy has been working many, many  hours in the shop. So many clarinets have been done as well as many flutes and saxophones. It is the silly season for DR TOOT. Repairs are coming from all over the place in NZ. Mummy and Daddy are very organized so I know everything will be ok. We have a young Japanese worker working with daddy and she has been very busy cleaning the instruments. I wish that I could help, but I am too small. So instead, I sit and watch and support them with my spirit.

We have many instruments arriving soon from Japan. If you want to see what is coming, please check out our website and Facebook. While you are there on Facebook, please like DR TOOT. When you like DR.TOOT, you like me…purrrrrr :-)

On Friday, daddy and 17 other tuba and euphonium players all got together at the Aotea Centre and performed Auckland’s first  “Tuba Christmas Carols”.  I wanted to go, but there are laws about taking your cats to concerts in the city….so daddy told me. Apparently there was over 10.000.000 people watching and cheering them on…well maybe about 50, but I’m sure they enjoyed it.

Mummy is very happy. She has received another toy for the office. It’s a new computer.  It has more brains and memory then the old one and a big 23” screen, so daddy can read the print. Daddy is not a spring chicken anymore and needs a bigger screen to see the words….oh dear.

I must go now. I would love to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. Remember, Santa knows who has been naughty or nice. I am expecting many things, but I feel sorry for Alfa. She won’t get anything. I will share what I get with her, because, that is in my nature. Happy Holidays!!!!!!
