Yes, it’s back to normal here at DR TOOT. Students started coming in for lessons, and
all were so happy to see my beautiful face as I greeted most of them. Lessons
have been changed from mummy’s office, to upstairs in the music showroom. This
way, mummy and daddy have their own space. I wonder if something could be
arranged that Alfa and I have separate rooms, so that we too could have our own
space. She always wants to play and do silly things. I am so over that. With
age comes wisdom and knowledge. This is something Alfa may gain in another 10
years or so time.
It’s the first full week back at work.
Humans seem to take long holidays, and breaks in the middle of the week. As a
cat, we enjoy long relaxing days always and see no need to rush about and work.
That’s why we have human slaves to do this for us. I mean really…I am Zara!
Alfa and I have been watching a little bit on TV and have been seeing a couple
of cats in commercials. I turned down the one that features a cat being run
over by a lawn mower and hit by a truck. I will do many things, but I won’t
lose my dignity. I think people too would worry if they saw me on TV having all
those things happening to me. I do not want to worry my fans.
This week, a lovely silver Yamaha cornet
found a new home with one of daddy’s customers. He conducts a brass band and
really loved this cornet. Then on Tuesday, a lady came in with a flute she
wanted repairing, and left us with a fantastic Muramatsu flute we had in stock.
I have seen her before and I know she is a cat lover. All the best people in
the world are cat lovers. Then later in the week, a young boy took home a
Yamaha YAS32 Alto sax. Daddy had not long worked on it, and I was happy to see
that it has a new home. More repairs came in and some new stock for DR TOOT.
One of the stock items, is a SML Baritone Sax that goes down to the low A. It’s
huge and daddy and mummy say, pretty rare. After daddy services it, mummy will
list it on our website and TradeMe.
I better go now. Alfa wants to go outside
and I have to keep an eye on her. It’s not easy being an older sister. Till
later……stay cool J
