Greetings to all. It’s a very, very, hot,
humid day today in Auckland. I gave in to mummy and let her brush my long,
black, beautiful fur. The truth is, is that it is too hot to wear such a lovely
coat and in the end I was happy to lose a little. I just wish she didn’t brush
me in front of Alfa. A lady needs a bit of privacy and respect. It’s not right
to have Alfa watch!
It’s been a short, but busy week at DR TOOT’S.
Monday was a holiday as it was Auckland Anniversary Weekend. On Tuesday Daddy
and his assistant personally delivered to 4 different schools (5 trips), all
the repaired instruments with accessories. We can now see the floor of Daddy’s
Workshop…..but not for long. More repairs, private and school have come in and
yes….Daddy is hard at work again. Our mummy is very artistic. Mummy designed
our new DR TOOT Case labels and a beautiful flyer of all the Gonzalez Reeds
they bring in. Wow. Everything looks so fantastic, and so professional. We have
a very cleaver mummy J
This week, we received another shipment
from Gonzalez Reeds, and another shipment of flutes from Japan. There is never
a dull moment here. A lucky person from Christchurch, bought one of our alto
saxophones we have for sale. It was a YAS62 Professional saxophone with a real
cool Gator case. It’s so nice to spread a little happiness around New Zealand.
Apart from the saxophone sale, there have been many orders for reeds and other
accessories. This will help keep Alfa and I fed and stay happy J
I will have my little cat nap now. Alfa is
still on a leash outside. She looks so
silly out there. I must not laugh. Maybe in 10 years from now, she will enjoy
the freedom that I have….maybeJJ
