Uuummm, where to
begin…lots of things happened this week and my small head had enough memories
to stored J
Well, it is already December, and it seems that the busiest time of the year at
DR TOOT has already started ! Some instruments for repairs have arrived and
daddy will go to a school pick up some instruments tomorrow, Friday and the
following week.
A Japanese assistant arrived today. Her name is Fumi. She
will stay with us for the next few months here, and she will help daddy in the workshop
for cleaning many musical instruments – flutes, clarinets, saxophones,
trumpets, trombones…etc. We hope that she will enjoy staying with us and look
after me well J
This week, two of pre-loved Yamaha saxophones YAS32 have arrived
from Japan. The YAS32 is DR TOOT’s best seller saxophone, and we did not have
them in stock for a while. This time, we have two of them. Then, one of them
has already found a new home in Auckland.
After Daddy serviced them, he had a phone call from a lady the next day…and
the saxophone has left in the same day. She didn’t stay with us for a long…it
happens at DR TOOT…sometimes J
On Tuesday, a lovely mother and daughter visited us. The
young girl plays a clarinet and wanted to upgrade her clarinet. She liked a
Yamaha wooden clarinet YCL450 and she has left with the clarinet happily. Oh,
she liked me too, but I am not for sale J
Coming week, two pre-loved instruments should be arriving
here from Japan. A Yamaha flute 311ll
and a French flugelhorn Antoine Courtois (ummm, that was a hard name
for me to spell it J).
It will be our first flugelhorn ! So, mummy and daddy are quite excited.
Daddy had a concert with MSO (Manukau Symphony Orchestra)
last night. It was the last concert for this year. He will have a concert with
AWO (Auckland Wind Orchestra) on the 14th December, and it will be
the last concert for this year for them and daddy.
BTW, I lost my little ball and have found it again…so, I
am happy now J
I practice soccer everyday JJJ
