Guess who was here !

It’s been chilly (sometimes) and mild (sometimes) weather here, Auckland. It was a nice day outside today and enjoy my free time with big sis Zara a little bit J I can see that mummy is anxious if I am going to jump on the fences....I sometimes look up them but I hesitate….ummmmmm, Nooooooooooo !

Mummy and daddy had another busy week ! Another Yamaha Custom trumpet YTR931MLS and Yamaha pro model tenor saxophone YTS62S have arrived at DR TOOT and listed on our website. Two pro model saxophones have found their new homes this week – one was a Yanagisawa bronze alto sax A902, which has gone to a new owner in Whangarei. Another one was a P. Mauriat tenor sax PMXT-66RCL, and it is ready to leave for Wellington tomorrow. Both of them did not stay here for a long time….Lucky saxes J

I and Zara were having a lazy Sunday and…..Guess who came in our door…..that was Micky !!! He has arrived from OZ and came to see us on the way to his holiday in Coromandel. He was with his sister who picked up him at airport. Micky was here a few months back and he is now working at Sax & Woodwind and Brass in Sydney. It was good to see him again, and daddy was talking, talking, talking….and talking J

Mummy has been busy preparing lots of marketing materials for New Zealand Concert Bands National Festival on 31st May and 1st June. She does all design works – DR TOOT business cards, T-shirts, brouchers, flyers, banners…etc.  As a mummy’s PA, I watch what she is doing in the office by the computer and snuggle, snuggle, snuggle….hehehehe J

Daddy seems that he has received another big job of a vintage saxophone. If you are interested or if you know someone who is a qualified brass & woodwind repair technician to join our team at DR TOOT, please contact us as we need you ! It is getting so busy here, that we need extra help in the repair department. We are open to look for ones here or overseas. Please apply!!!

It looks like winter is close by. In the morning when we get up, I like to stay in bed just a little longer J Another sign that winter is on it’s way is seeing daddy clean the BBQ before it’s put away. Daddy was outside scrubbing away and making it look shiny again. And you know winter is coming when Zara and I share the blanket on the couch…ahhhhh, sisterly love J Stay warm, everyone, and talk to you in two weeks time !
