Concert coming…I love concerts !

Well, she has done it again! She has stolen my thunder!!!I Every time it’s Alfa’s turn on the Blog, she always has a good week on sales. This week, we didn’t have any major instrument sales. Plenty of small sales, but nothing really major. Now Alfa is trying to convince mummy and daddy to dump me from blogging because she says that I am cursed. Rubbish!! It has just been a slow week for me, but that doesn’t mean that nothing has happened…..

This week started with daddy making his first of many orders to the States. He has made a large list of tools and machinery that he needs because the repair side of DR TOOT has really expanded and he seems busier than ever. Many saxophone repairs this week, including a vintage Martin Tenor Sax from a customer of ours in Wellington. It needed a lot of work and daddy got straight onto it and got it done ahead of time. He texted us to say that it arrived and that he said that he was so happy and that it is plays and looks fantastic. This always makes daddy happy when people take the time to say thank you. Many flutes too were done in time for the end of the school holidays. School starts tomorrow and many of our customers have exams coming up.

Speaking of exams…Next Saturday at 12 noon at the Uxbridge Arts Centre in Howick, many of daddy’s students are performing some of their exams pieces to their parents and friends. DR TOOT has a concert every year for his students, so that they may share with others, how hard they have worked and how good they sound. I know that mummy and daddy are very very proud of them. All the best for Saturday my friends.

Today mummy and daddy were out again. Daddy told me that they were looking at another TOOT car to replace the one we have. I know little about this, but no doubt, Alfa will be full of it and share that news too. One other bit of news I can share is that Alfa has a new POO box. She made such a mess of the old one that we had to get a new one and it’s color is LOUD PINK! Even Alfa can’t miss it, which has been part of the problem, if you know what I mean….

Time for dinner now. I heard someone filling our dishes and I don’t want Alfa eating everything again. Have a great week and remember that school has started again, so watch out for the little people and and cats. Zara loves you so be good!
