Give me time to stretch……ah, that’s better J I so love my heater and love it when mum and
daddy put on the under floor heating. Nowadays, I really don’t move much unless
my body is warm and my belly is full. Maybe, life is too good for Alfa and me.
Long gone are the days when I wanted to hunt for birds and rats. Everything is
laid out for me and I do life the life that was meant for me.
This week was the last week of school before the school holidays
start. This time of year as expected, many students have come down with a cold
or flu. I do feel sorry for them as it will be a few weeks till they see me
again and I know that my presence gives them hope and happiness. Hang in there students…the time will fly fast.
I know. So far this blog looks like it’s all about me. It is! Get over it!!!!!
This week it has been crazy busy in the repair shop. I don’t
think I have ever seen so many saxophones come in with such major jobs needing
to be done. Daddy has been working on all sorts of flutes, trumpets, clarinets,
saxophones….the list goes on. Daddy yet again is preparing a list for mummy on
what new tools he wants. There is always something he wants and says that it is
a need more than a want….we will see. Mummy is always onto daddy to get the
list ready. It grows from day to day. We sold a beautiful wooden Yamaha
clarinet to a lady that works with rockets in New Zealand. Yes it’s true I have
asked her to make a rocket big enough to sent Alfa into space. I don’t, think
it will happen, but you never know.
Daddy has his students concert coming up in a few weeks
time. They are playing pieces that they will play for their Trinity College
exams. This reminds me. I am sure you are ready, but how about your instrument.
What is the point of doing all that hard practice and not letting your
instrument play to it’s best. Exams are coming up soon, so please book in your
instrument for some of DR TOOT’s TLC. You know your instrument deserves it and
so do you. Book now and this way you both will be winners!
