Slow down, big daddy !

It was a beauuuuutiful day here in Auckland today. It looks like already spring J While daddy was practicing a tuba in the morning (Sorry, neighbours !!!), I enjoyed being outside with Zara and mummy. It was nice and warm, and I loved it so much J

Monday is always busy at DR TOOT…mummy packs all accessories sold during weekend. Daddy starts a new week with lots of instruments which arrived during weekend or customers come to see him with instruments in the morning. It makes daddy and mummy happy J

On Monday, one of pre-loved Yamaha trumpets has found a new home in Hamilton on TradeMe. The new owner received it the next day and she has left a very good feedback on TradeMe. Mummy and daddy were talking, that they don’t have any trumpets  in stock…one stage, we had five trumpets but all have gone now…they are looking for trumpets in Japan now, so hopefully they will find some very soon !

Two pre-loved instruments have arrived from Japan this week. Yamaha handmade piccolo YPC81 and a very pretty Yamaha flute 311LPGA which is a limited model in Japan. It has a hand engraving on the cap and pink gold plated lip plated…..ummm, like me, very special.

Friday night, we had a guest whose name was Michael. He is a classical alto sax professional player and teacher. He lives in Rotorua and teaches in many places. I normally don’t socialize with mummy and daddy’s guests, but that night, I was a bit curious and stayed often by the side of mummy. Then, Michael kept  saying to me “beautiful cat” or “model cat”…etc. So, it wasn’t so bad JJJ without Zara (mummy accidentally shut the door, so Zara could not get out all night J)

Daddy was out almost every night for rehearsals this week, so I know that Zara was not happy at all. He had two concerts to play today, but he has back pain and ended up canceling one of the concerts at night. So, he is here with us…take it easy, daddy…not young anymore like used to be….J
