Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, fellow cats and Zara admirers…..it’s
that time again. The Zara Blog time when you hear the news, the real news
addressed by me, Queen Zara. Yes, this is the week to talk about what’s been
and what’s coming. The week started off with a sale of a beautiful Yanagisawa
alto sax. This sale technically started in Alfa’s week, but the gentleman
wanted it all done when I was in charge. Alfa seems to get all the sales and
credit in her week. Even when some are started off by me. Alfa needs help and
support…..lots of both!!!
There is so much going on right now. . As some of you know,
this coming Thursday is our first Selmer night, which will be held at the Lewis
Eady building from 7pm to 8.30. We will have two guest artists and will be
featuring the Selmer clarinets, saxophones, mouthpieces, necks and accessories.
We will also be featuring the wide range of Gonzalez clarinet and saxophone
reeds. This will be a big night for us and we encourage all to please register
if you are coming. There are prizes to be won and the entry is FREE!!! Many many
have already registered. Please don’t miss out. Alfa and I won’t be there to
make an appearance, but I will be there in spirit. Alfa I am sure will tell you
all about it.
Speaking of exciting things happening and to come……November
here at DR TOOT’S is BIRTHDAY month. Today is mummy’s birthday. It seems to be
a little low key here, if you know what I mean. Alfa, Daddy and I got up early
and made chocolate muffins for mummy for breakfast. Personally, I prefer my
salmon and tuna meal. Daddy bought a card on our behalf and Alfa and I signed
it. The picture on the front was a cat that was fat and very hairy. Tonight
daddy and mummy are going out for dinner at some Italian joint. They never take
us anywhere…. This coming Tuesday is Alfa’s birthday. Her body is turning 3 and
her brain still remains at 1. I will as I always do, get a special can of cat
food for her, which of course, I will share with her. The power of
giving..hehehehehe.
Next Sunday, there will be a major event happening here.
Yes you guessed it. It is my birthday, and like mummy, we don’t talk about the
numbers J I am a mature, elegant and intelligent girl.
Wisdom comes with age. Well, for most of us. I worry about daddy sometimes, but
I am always there for him.
Time to go I feel. I have said my piece and am totally happy
in my fur. Have a great week everybody and please come as see us on Thursday
