What a crazy week it has been. As Alfa mentioned, Easter break covered over Last Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The shop opened this week for only a few days. This is because ANZAC Day happened on Thursday. ANZAC Day is like Remembrance Day in North America. A day that we pay tribute towards the soldiers that went to war in WWl and WWII to fight for our freedom here in New Zealand and Australia. This working week therefor was Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Even though there were only 3 days work, they were all packed with repair that had to be done before term 2 starts tomorrow.
Last week was also the last week where it was only daddy and Masaru in the workshop. Taka arrives back to New Zealand this Wednesday and will start work on Thursday. I miss Taka and I know that daddy and Masaru miss him too.
No major sales this week, but many accessories went out the
door. This has made mummy very busy. As well as looking after these sales,
mummy has completed the stock take and totally organised the office. It looks
great and is much easier to find things. Alfa and I were called many times to
help mummy find things, so now it will be better for mummy 😺
Next week will be a normal week regarding days and staff.
Alfa, I am sure will have much to say,….as she always does and should mention
some sales that I have already prepared for her….as usual!!!! I wish I had more
to say but I can only really report on the 3 hard working days that we had.
The days are getting a little cooler and daddy’s warm lap is very welcome for me in the evenings. Alfa usually relaxes behind the curtain, on the stairs, on the floor or on mummy’s lap in the evening. She gets a bit confused sometimes on where she wants to rest. No comment! 😀
