When it was my turn
for the blog last time, NZ moved down to Alert Level 3…and now since Thursday,
NZ has moved down to Level 2…Yay ! It
means that DR TOOT Team are welcoming back our customers to our premises. The front door opens and it is more chances
for me to go out, hehehe...😺
Since then, we saw a
few familiar faces and more instruments have arrived for services/repairs. Thank you, customers !!!
Although courier
services have been huge delays, things are coming and going…please be patient
and kind to other cats, oh no…. to other people 😻
One of pre-loved
Yamaha trumpets has found a new home in
Christchurch this week. It has left here and hopefully it would be delivered to
the new owner soon. Then, one day, we
received an email from a gentleman in USA.
He wanted to purchase all 14 O’Brien crystal clarinet mouthpieces in
stock. Well, all of them were packed
carefully and left for a new home, less than 30km away from where they were
made….ummm, interesting !
A few pre-loved
instruments have arrived from Japan - Yamaha trombone YSL456G, Yamaha clarinet
YCL650 and Yamaha tenor sax YTS480 and Jupiter trumpet JTR300. They will be
serviced by the Team and listed on our website soon !
It was the 1st
weekend at Level 2, and hope that everyone enjoyed the nice weather. It’s
getting close to normality…!? For me and
Zara, we feel everything is the same…except the smell of hand sanitizer and
disinfectant - that’s new normal for us at DR TOOT 😺😸😼
