As my big sis Zara wrote last week, we had a great end of the year party with our students. I had a wonderful time with them and I was soooooo popular :-))) Everyone was calling my name “Rico, Ricoooooo !!! ” I didn’t hear Zara’s name though ;-) Yep, I escaped in the middle of night…around 10.30pm and came back maybe around midnight :-) Mummy forgot to lock the cat door and I didn’t miss it, hehehehehe.
Last week, DR TOOT had lots of phone calls regarding our pre-loved instruments and repairs, from everywhere in New Zealand. Daddy was so popular ;-) Oh, yes…he talks !!! I mean he can talk, talk, talk…and talk :-)
On Tuesday, DR TOOT received a phone call from a gentleman. It was about a Selmer Paris Mark Vl tenor sax, which I mentioned about a few weeks ago. He saw the photos and was interested in it. After he talked with daddy, he decided to purchase the saxophone. Well, the Mark Vl has found a new home in Wellington. I guess she is enjoying her new life with her cousin Mark Vl alto….which he also owns.
The other day, there was another phone call from Dunedin. This time it was from a lady who is looking for an A clarinet for her son. She asked daddy to find one for him. The funny thing is, is that the family is now reading our blog…wow, so cooooooooool !!!
A very cute Yanagisawa saxophone arrived at DR TOOT on Thursday. Daddy has told me it’s called a curved soprano sax…about the same size as me, but much older than me :-) She has been in DR TOOT’s theatre. Hope she feels better, I mean looks better ;-)
As I write this, I am very hot ! It’s very warm here and the house feels like a sauna. I don’t need to lose weight…but another cat who is here does…and daddy, of course ;-)
