I think...

Last week, Zara was having moments…not only one moment, but two J  She didn’t say “Happy New Year” to everyone or didn’t mention about Rico’s one year anniversary.   I know the 2nd January was very hard day for mummy, daddy and maybe for Zara – a year ago, Rico passed away and mummy and daddy hoped that the same thing wouldn’t happen to me.  Well, I am fine…I am still alive…with leash, I cannot go anywhere, right !? J

It’s been soooooooo hot in Auckland.   Zara always complains about the heat.  Her fur is thick and black, so I guess that she feels hotter than I feel.  I enjoy the summer outside – lie down on grasses under the tree.  If I feel too hot, I come back and sleep inside.

Lots of instruments have arrived from Japan – two Yamaha trumpets, a Yamaha cornet, a Yamaha Custom Bb/F trombone, a Yamaha tenor sax and a Jupiter flute.  All instruments have been serviced by daddy, DR TOOT and mummy took photos and has listed them on our website.  As mummy’s PA, I always check if the photos are fine J  I know that Zara doesn’t do anything…sleeps all the time !!!

Saturday, we had a very nice couple at DR TOOT.  The gentleman plays alto saxophone and wanted to try our Selmer Mark Vl.  They are cat lovers, and they really liked us JJJ  He liked the saxophone too J, so they have left with the Mark Vl – Thank you !

Saturday night, Mummy, daddy and Naoko were invited by Uncle Bruce and his sister for dinner.  So, I had to stay at home with Zara.  It was a long and quiet evening for us.   Zara sleeps up stair and I sleep downstairs or keep watch for when they return.  I wish mummy and daddy could take me with them. It’s no fun with just Zara here J

Today mummy was very busy cleaning the house while daddy was busy in the workshop. There are still so many saxophones here but between daddy and Naoko, they are getting through them very quickly. Only 2 weeks to go to get everything done, and I think they are on track to finish the job.

Well it’s time for me to rest my paws and sleep a bit. I hope you all have a great week and look forward in talking to you next time JJJ
