Yes folks, it’s official. Summer has finally come. Hot days,
and warm nights. Mummy has been grooming Alfa and I to remove the thick and
lovely fur from our bodies. I am now looking so beautiful. More than usual.
Alfa’s fur coat isn’t as thick or as soft as mine, but still needs grooming.
Mummy and daddy have been working very, very hard. Many
repairs have been done and many, many more still to be done. Daddy and his
assistant are busy in the repair shop and mummy is busy in the office. Mummy is
of course running the office. She is always there. With every repair comes and
invoice, and phone calls, and customers, and orders…I think she works harder
than daddy, but I can’t say that because I am daddy’s girl and he might get a
bit thingy.
We have news here. Daddy’s brother, Kerry arrived from
Canada yesterday morning at a very early hour. He talks funnier like daddy and
is taller too. Kerry is here for just over 3 weeks and is staying with us and
daddy’s other brother Tim while he is out here. He loves animals and even Alfa.
Kerry has a cat called Socks. He black all over and is what is called a barn
cat. Kerry also has two dogs that like Socks. I don’t think I could handle
that. It’s hard enough getting along with Alfa.
