It’s been strange weather in Auckland. Some days, we have very warm and sunny day
like spring and some days, there were lots of wind and rain like typical winter
days. For me, it really doesn’t matter
because I always stay inside…Looking
outside from the window. Daddy
thinks I am having a moment J
This week, two pre-loved instruments and a few pre-loved
mouthpieces have arrived from Japan. A
Yamaha flute 511 and a Yamaha trumpet 4335GS.
They looked like new…amazing ! The mouthpieces were two of pre-ordered
Denis Wick B4 cornet mouthpieces and a Yamaha Custom trumpet mouthpiece. The
customer, who ordered the Denis Wick mouthpieces came to pick them up, and he
said to daddy “Are they really second hand !??? “ Yes, they looked like spanking brand new ! Well, the customer was very happy, so mummy
and daddy were so pleased too….and I was happy three JJJ
The life at DR TOOT has been as usual – daddy has been busy
with repairs and teaching….and practicing tuba.
Mummy has been busy with invoicing, packing, taking photos of
instruments and updating website. Zara
has been busy with sleeping and sleeping J
Today, mummy and daddy went out in the afternoon and came
back later with a couple of new furniture.
I was supervising what they were doing while Zara was sleeping. Daddy has moved a teaching room (again) to
another room. The room became also his
practicing room now, and Anton (daddy’s new tuba) sleeps in the room.
Well, I hope that all will settle soon and we can all get
back to normal. Please all stay warm and healthy. Mummy now has a vey sore
throat and daddy’s coughing is starting to get less. It is that time of year I
