Hello, my fellow watchers and fans. Has anybody seen my
daddy? He seems to be out a lot and didn’t come home till almost 8.30 tonight.
You see, daddy, has been rehearsing with the NZ POPS Orchestra on Friday night,
Saturday afternoon and was away today from 9am. He had a rehearsal at 10am and
then a concert at 5pm. After a couple of drinks and chatting, he decides to
come home. After his rehearsal yesterday, daddy joined other friends of his
that had a concert with AWO. They all met at the Birdcage and after a few
drinks and nibbles, he decides to come home. There is now a curfew on daddy for
awhile. We miss our daddy!!!J
Anyway…like I said, daddy had a concert tonight with NZ POPS
Orchestra. The Town Hall was pretty full and daddy said that the orchestra and audience
really enjoyed themselves. This was the first time daddy was able to play with
Anton…you know, his new tuba, in a concert and daddy said that he behaved
himself really well. Other people too said that they liked the sound, so I
guess all is good.
It’s been a busy week again at DR TOOT’s. This week a Yamaha
flute, YFL211SII, and a Yamaha YCL450 wooden clarinet arrived in from Japan. This
was interesting, because, before daddy could even service the flute, it had
already been sold. You have to be quick around here. Also sold this week was a
Yamaha YAS62 Alto Sax and Buffet Clarinet R13. Apart from instrument sale,
mummy has been very busy with sales of the many accessories here. There is a
long weekend coming up, so we are sure they will take some sort of break.
More repairs keep coming and more instruments keep going. I
am not a cat that really likes change, but I am told that this sort of change
is good. Things keep coming and going. Well I have talked a bit now, so it’s
back upstairs for me now to catch up with some rest. I sleep near my daddy’s
pillow and sniff in his smell. If I can’t see him….I might as well smell him…oh
dear…meow !!!
