Anton is not one of us…Anton is daddy’s new tuba ! Daddy has named his new tuba “Anton”…Yes,
Anton Bruckner J As my big sister, Zara, mentioned last week,
our daddy has got a new Miraphone CC tuba from Sydney. Since then, he practices everyday…sorry about
noise, all our neighbours. But I must admit that daddy produces much
much better sound ! So, I can even
sleeeep during his practice J
Daddy was so excited to see Steve Rosse (a famous top
professional tuba player) in Sydney last week, and this week he met Andrew Jarvis
(NZSO tuba player) in Auckland. Daddy
was so happy again…mummy, Zara and I saw that daddy talks about it so fast and
cannot stop ! Funny J
Lots of instruments keep arriving at DR TOOT. So, daddy has been very busy with repairs
too. Oboes, flutes, clarinets,
saxophones, trumpets…etc. from all around NZ. Pre-Loved Yamaha flutes and Yamaha tenor sax
have arrived safely from Japan too. One
of the flutes, Yamaha YFL411 has been already sold to a customer in
Invercargill. It is a solid silver flute
and looks like new !
It’s getting cooler in Auckland. Night time, Zara curls up on daddy’s lap and
I curl up on mummy’s lap J
Zara won’t say it but I will….Zara at night curls right up beside me and we
feel each other’s warmth. I love Zara and I know that deep inside, that Zara
loves me too. Well, school holiday has finished today…we hope that everyone had
a great time and is ready for school tomorrow !!! I am Alfa…Princess Alfa at DR
