Ompha, Ompha, Ompha all the time….

Yes, the sounds of daddy practicing Anton are ringing through the house. Daddy has been in rehearsals with the Manakau Symphony Orchestra this week and will be again next week for a concert on Saturday June 29th. They are performing many works, including Gerswhins “American in Paris”, which has a little tuba solo in it. So poor Alfa and I have been very good listening to his playing. It’s hard to sleep with all that going on……we will survive J

It’s been a steady week at DR TOOT’S with repairs and sales. The other day a Yanagisawa Alto sax that was just imported, has found a new home. This was a copper sax and daddy said, had an amazing tone. We will soon be receiving a copper Yanagisawa tenor sax for sale, so watch this space. Some cool cases too arrived from Japan. They are a euphonium case, soprano sax and baritone sax. They look really cool and the box they came in made really nice houses for Alfa and I to play in J

A few nights ago, we had a real big storm here in Auckland. Lots of thunder and bright lights filled the sky. Alfa was so scared and I snuggled up next to her to make her feel safe. Remember that she is still just a baby. Mummy got something for Alfa and I the other day. It’s a heated pad that goes under our bed mattress to keep us warm. I have plenty of fur and Alfa is a bit fat, but this heating pad makes both of us feel warm and happy.

I better go now because I hear my daddy has just come home and I was to give him a great big Zara kiss. Please be good to your pets and know that we all love you all so much. Look after us and we will love you even more. Bye for now…
