My big sis, Zara was saying that it was the longest 48 hours
in the last week…for me, it was the longest 48 hours in my life without
mummy. Last time mummy and daddy were
away from home was a long time ago, and I was still baby at that time and didn’t
remember anything. But this time was
different - I am bigger now and I really care few certain things. So, it was
hard for me…well, mummy is back…that is the best thing J Ah, of course, daddy is back too !J
Since they came back, lots of instruments have arrived for
repairs and services. Mummy and daddy
have been refreshed and they are working harder ! A gorgeous Yanagisawa bronze alto sax has
arrived from Japan and more instruments are arriving soon as well as pre-loved
mouthpieces. One of our Yamaha wooden clarinets
has found a new home in Auckland. The
clarinet did not stay at DR TOOT for long.
Daddy with his tuba, Anton had a rehearsal with Manukau Symphony
Orchestra yesterday. The concert will be
on Sunday, the 29th June. Daddy
is so excited because the orchestra is big and he will be playing lots of
music, like Gershwin’s American in Paris and Rhapsody in Blues and many others.
Daddy has a few solos in the pieces and is very nervous. Zara and I hear daddy every day practicing,
and we know he will sound great!! We say….bring it on baby J
It’s been raining all day in Auckland. I was looking at outside – lots of water is
falling down from the sky and I have realized that I’ve never been outside
under the rain. So, I was wondering how
it would be like….ummmmm. Zara wanted to
go outside, but she thought that it’s better to stay inside. So, we both stayed at home all day. While Zara was sleeping on the couch in the
living room, I was sleeping on a chair in mummy’s office. Keep calm and stay warm…
One thing I have to say……….sharing a poo box with Zara is
not really cool thing. She knows that
that’s mine, but when she has to use it, I guess she has to use it – Big compromise
! I am kind, so I let her use it anyway JJJ
