Ooooooooohhhh Full Moon

There is a full moon out tonight. I sleep nowadays back on mummy and daddy’s bed, of course on daddy’s side. The window blinds are open a little for me to see the full moon. Alfa prefers to hide/stay downstairs with mummy and daddy. The full moon for us cats, can bring out the real beast in us. Because I am so gentle, I am able to control this, but Alfa is different. She goes a little bit more crazy than usual and I like to stay away when this happens. She gives cats a bad name. Well that’s enough on how good I am…

This week was week one for the school holidays. Many, many, repairs have come in and daddy has been so busy with all sorts of instruments. He is always so calm and cool and never gets too stressed. I think this is largely because of me. I don’t know what it is, but I do have a very calmness vibe I share. Yes, yes, Alfa is cute, but when things go wrong, you want a leader, not some cutesy cutesy. The days are getting a little longer and warmer. I am still there keeping Alfa warm and looking out for her. I do love her, I just don’t always understand her.

This week we sold as usual a few instruments that have found new homes in New Zealand.  A couple of clarinets are gone as well as a lovely silver trumpet. The trumpet hasn’t actually left yet, but will leave by the end of the week. We take pride in the lovely instruments we have here and are really happy when they find new homes. I am looking for a new home for Alfa.

It’s been a busy week in daddy’s workshop, and I don’t mean just repairs. On Friday, a man came early in the morning and delivered some bits and pieces for daddy and with those things, daddy was able to build 2 very large shelving units. I have said many times, that I don’t like change. This change seems good for daddy and the shop, so it must be ok.

Daddy had a life before he came to NZ. Daddy as you know is from Canada. With the internet and Facebook, he has recently connected with a few friends that he hasn’t seen nor spoken to in about 40 years. Daddy had hair and no tummy then, so I guess he looked very different. One of daddy’s friends is a guy called Douglas who is a great cat lover. He must be a good person. So from NZ, I say a huge meow to all other cats around the world and say that Queen Zara loves you and wishes you well. Think of me and New Zealand when you see the full moon…..we understand….purrrrr..purrrr J
