Me and Mikey

Welcome to Hotel TOOT. It’s been an interesting day for Alfa and me. On Sunday night, while Alfa was doing her blog, daddy had a phone call from Sydney Australia. It was from a guy that worked for daddy about 20 years ago. He phoned because he wanted to freshen up some of his repairing skills because he had just landed a job as a repairer in Sydney. His name is Mike and he and his wife Heather have 2 cats and one dog….not sure about having a dog…. So daddy asked when he was coming and he said…Tuesday!!! On Tuesday afternoon, Mike arrived and stayed in the teaching room and lived with us for almost 5 days. Mike was really nice and he gave Alfa and I many cuddles. I hope his cats don’t read this blog, as they might get very jealous. Mike left on Saturday afternoon and will start his new job, sometime next week. We wish him all the best and know that we will hear from him soon.

Been a busy week as usual, with some more instruments arriving in from Japan. This week an amazing flute arrived. It is an Altus flute with all the works. The flute is listed on Trademe and on our website. It has everything a professional flutiest would want and need. To know more, please click onto the sites and you will be so surprised. As well as the flute, we also received a Buffet E11 wooden clarinet. You see it’s not only people that come and go at DRTOOT’S.  Speaking of going….A lovely Yanagisawa Tenor sax that just arrived the other week has now found a home in Wellington. The customer should receive it tomorrow and we know he will be very happy with it.

This coming Thursday is daddy’s Birthday. Alfa and I will talk to mum about what we will get for him. I can’t say too much because he sometimes looks at my blog, so mum’s the word. J  To share this occasion, DR TOOT is offering a special to all our customers that receive our news letter. Those that get the news letter know what I mean. J

I better go now. Daddy has just come back from a rehearsal with the Manukau  Symphony Orchestra. They are practicing for a concert doing Mahler 1. A big work for everybody and daddy is a bit scared. Until next, be happy, wish Daddy Happy Birthday and watch out for those fur balls…
