Happy Birthday, Daddy !!!

Well, as my big sis Zara mentioned last week, we cerebrated our daddy’s the 57th birthday on Thursday.  He has got one year older…but he was a happy man J Zara and mummy were quiet on that day – tried to be nice to daddy JJJ  He had a band rehearsal in the evening, so he went out and cerebrated his birthday with orchestra band members afterwards at pub…Lucky man ! One of the band members, Katie baked a birthday cake for daddy and we got the cake too - Thanks, Katie ! Mummy and daddy ate them on behalf of me and Zara J

Daddy’s birthday week started very busy at DR TOOT.  Daddy and mummy received lots of phone calls on Monday.  One phone call was from a customer in Rotorua – he was in Auckland and wanted to try one of our pre-loved tenor saxophones.  He visited us with his friend, and he really liked the 901II.  He left with the saxophone happily.

Another phone call was from a lady in Cromwell down south.  She was interested in a Yamaha flute 511. After she talked to daddy on a phone, she purchased it on our website.  The flute has left for a new home in Cromwell.

After Mikey went back to Australia, more instruments have arrived for repairs and services.  Even a world famous Selmer MKVI alto sax came in for a full service J Daddy was excited to see the beautiful saxophone.  BTW, Mikey has got a job in Sydney and he is now working in a music store – Congrats from me and Zara !

Two flutes and two clarinets have arrived safely from Japan.  Daddy will service them and mummy will take photos and list them on our website soon.  Mummy listed some pre-loved French Horns mouthpieces and Yanagisawa alto saxophone A880 with underslung neck on our website a few days ago.

Mummy and daddy went out for a dinner last night to cerebrate daddy’s birthday.  As I am a good daughter, I always greet them by the front door….while Zara sleeps…she thinks I am like a dog J They sounded that they had a lovely dinner in the city.

Daddy had a concert with AWO (Auckland Wind Orchestra) today.  The concert hall was full and the concert went well. One day I hope that Zara and I will go to one of daddy’s concert…we will see. Oh…daddy has just come home and has brought some fishy food for Zara and I for breakfast J   I better go and greet daddy.  Bye till next time !
