Yes, I did experience a bit of adventures…we are having
very hot days here in Auckland and mummy and daddy wanted to keep opening
windows or doors. One day, mummy forgot to close a window in her office. Of
course, I didn’t miss the chance J
I jumped off from the window, and explored the garden. As you know, I am a good
girl….so, I did not run away and they found me in the backyard about 15 minutes
later.
Then, the next day, I noticed that the door in a teaching
room was open and I saw that the windows were open too ! Of course, I didn’t
miss the chance again J
I jumped on the roof from the window and I explored the roof of the TOOT ! That
was fun….but a bit scary ! Daddy chased me and it was scary too ! He grabbed me
and took me inside…end of adventure L
I must say…Iam quite proud myself that I caught five cicadas
!!! Last one I caught at the front of mummy, kept it in my mouth and brought it
inside of our house. Daddy saw that I was eating it J Unmmm, it was yummy !
This week, another
Yamaha flute has found a new home in Paeroa and one of Yamaha trombones has
gone to a school in Tauranga. Daddy has
start teaching again for this year, and we hear the music in the afternoons.
It’s good to see our students back…everyone seems to have grown up ! I was told
that I was grown up too J
Daddy also has gone back playing a tuba - He had two
rehearsals this week. One with AWO and another one with MSO. He seems to be
very happy that he plays with groups. Ah, mummy was out one night too. Her
Italian class has begun – she tries to not forget the language….she still speaks
in Italian to me and Zara everyday.
The nights in Auckland have been very hot. I am very
happy that Zara and I have separate beds. In the day time, Zara seems to sleep a
lot as you’ve seen her photos. She tells me that she does because it is so hot,
but I think it is because she is getting old. I have noticed recently many grey
hairs on her body….she doesn’t want to talk about it….
