Good evening to all my friends and fellow felines. I hope
you are all well and not shedding too much in this heat. We diva’s are
constantly cleaning ourselves and removing excess fur from our beautiful
bodies. Humans and dogs have no idea on what we go through to keep our bodies
so lovely. Alfa recently has been nagging me about how much sleep I have. I do
sleep for most of the day, but always keep one eye open in case my services are
needed. With one eye open, I still see more of what’s going on then Alfa with
both eyes open!
It’s been another great week at DR TOOT’s. Two
instruments have found new homes. Earlier this week a recently landed, Yamaha flute
with silver lip plate has a new home in Auckland and today, a Yamaha YTS23 Tenor
Sax will be leaving for a new home in Havelock North. All of our instruments
not only find new homes all around New Zealand, but also around the world. I
feel that I am very famous being Daddy’s P.A. There is an enormous amount of
pressure being daddy’s P.A. Apart from the sales of instruments, many reeds and
accessories have also found new homes.
It has been a final week this week for Fumi. Fumi as you
know, is from Japan and has been working for us since the first of December.
She has worked so hard and is so professional. I know she has a special place
in her heart for Alfa, but she has a special place in my heart. It is not my
fault that she feels sorry for others not as beautiful or as smart as me. We will
miss Fumi, but she will always be a part of our DR TOOT family. She always opened
the door for me and secretly told me that I was the kindest and best. Oh by the
way…..my bottom is feeling better now.
Today we received another review from one of our special
customers. Daddy recently did a repair on a vintage Martin Alto Sax. He
polished it up and did a lot of cork and key work on it. The customer was so
happy, that he wrote a very nice and kind review on DR TOOT’s TradeMe Service page. Thank you so much for your kind
words. It gave me a warm fuzzy feeling over my warm fuzzy body. We really appreciate
the feedback we receive. It helps us strive to be better at what we do. Our
goal is to be the best at what we do and to deliver a profession product to
you.
Time to say good night. I am not looking forward to
tonight as again it is a full moon. Alfa goes nuts!!! Running here and there
and driving me crazy. I wish she would grow up soon….it’s not that I am old,
just wiser…. J
