Princess and Princes from England have left for Australia. The
bad bad weather has disappeared somewhere…and we have had beautiful days…and
it’s raining again. We did not have a phone line for almost three days because
of the crazy weather…we are not living in a country side but when it happens,
it happens. Mummy and daddy were not happy without landline, but there are
other communication ways, emails, facebook, txt, mobile phones…Zara told me
that it’s called technology….wow, humans are clever !
We had another busy week here at DR TOOT, but mummy and
daddy seem to be having a relaxing and peaceful Easter weekend. While they were
doing gardening, Zara and I were outside with them and I enjoyed running
around. Our backyard now has a Jacaranda tree, roses and hibiscus trees. Mummy and daddy are creating a jungle theme
for us. In time, the trees will grow and I will climb up them and go on a great
adventure…maybe not. I like my own home comforts too much J
As I said before, that it is Easter. Mummy and daddy have
closed the shop and have been spending lots of time for just each other. This
means that they don’t talk about work
and I thought, would spend more time with Zara and I. But no! They have been
out as I said to garden centers, lunches and breakfasts away, and shopping.
They seem happy, but I don’t like them going away all the time, so when they
come back, I spend a lot of time sitting on mummy’s desk and staring at her. I
wonder if she gets the hint??
Tomorrow is Easter Monday and yes, you guessed it…..mummy
and daddy are again going shopping. Why do humans do this? Why can’t they just
stay all the time at home with Zara and I? Oh well, at least they do come back
and feed us and give us heaps of love and cuddles. Zara and I hope you all have
had a wonder Easter break and have taken the time to remember how special
families are and have enjoyed their company. Tonight I will cuddle on mummy’s
lap and show her how special she is to me. We hope you cats out there show your
humans how special they are. Happy Easter!!!
