A short week but so busy!

It’s been a week of catching up with daddy. As you may remember, last weekend mummy and daddy were involved with the NZ Concert Bands Festival held at Baradene College. They were out all day Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, which was a holiday, they were busy unpacking gear and sorting out all the things they did at the festival. On Monday night, daddy went away for dinner with other members of ABC (Auckland Brass Consort), to work on this year’s gig’s. Time for me to see and connect with daddy….”0”.

Now I am not a demanding girl, but it has been a little rough to see so little of daddy. We go back a long way and I know him better than most. This week I have been very close to dad. At night I have the time to sleep on daddy’s lap and spending as much time as I can with him…..I love my daddy….J

We had a Tenor Sax week before, and this week it’s the alto’s turn. The week started with the sale of a Yamaha YAS 275 with a surprise visit from the North Shore. Then a sale of an alto that just arrived into the country and didn’t even get a chance to be listed. Wow that’s fast!!! Daddy only finished servicing it hours before it found a new home. You never really know what is going to happen at DR TOOT. Speaking of saxophones….a Yanagisawa Baritone sax has just landed and will be here in the next day or so and ready to find a new home…. There are more instruments coming, and I hope this doesn’t mean that daddy will have less time for me….I get lonely.

It’s not just sales keeping us busy. Because of the Festival, daddy has been busy with repair from people who came to the festival. I am so proud of my mummy and daddy. I must say too that it hasn’t been easy for Alfa. Alfa is mummy’s PA and with mummy gone, it has been tough for Alfa. I keep an eye on her, but Alfa is not your normal usual cat. She is very caring and young, so it’s up to me to help and guide her. She is very young.

Its Sunday, so Roast Night. Daddy’s turn to cook….its the only meal daddy can cook, but please don’t tell him I said that.. Love you all and I wish you all a big purr. I love you all and wish you the very best. Keep it going baby!!!
