This week started with a very busy Monday. Lots of customers
visited that day and I was watching the people come and go from our windowsill.
One of them was a gentleman who was
wearing an “Iron Maiden” T-shirt. I thought myself, “that’s an unusual visitor
for a brass & woodwind shop !” He came to see our daddy, DR TOOT with a
trombone. He was not happy with it, and wanted to see what we have in stock. He
has left with one of our pre-loved Yamaha trombones with a happy face J
The next day, a gentleman phoned us and was asking about a
cornet we have. After a half hour later, he was here and saw a Yamaha cornet.
He came back here next day to pick up the cornet. We had another happy customer !
On Friday, our daddy turned 58 year-old J Zara and I asked mummy
to buy a birthday card for him. So, mummy picked up a nice one for his
birthday. Of course, Zara and I signed the card and we celebrated his birthday
all together J At
DR TOOT, we don’t talk about age….ummm, he is getting old…hehehehe. He has
received lots of messages on his Facebook and he was so pleased. Also, on Friday
a large parcel arrive here from Japan. Zara and I were wondering if it was a
present from the Japanese Government for
DR TOOT. It wasn’t J It was a large B&S
Baritone Saxophone for stock. Daddy will work on it soon so it can find a new
home !
Saturday, mummy and daddy went out to cerebrated another
birthday for one of our customers, who has turned 13. It was not an ordinary
birthday party…they told us that it was Bar Mitzvah and they went to Synagogue
to celebrate his birthday. They enjoyed
the experience and thought it was very special.
It’s been a quite weekend for me and Zara….it was a nice
weather here Auckland, today. So, I enjoyed being outside with Zara while mummy
was gardening. She planted some more new
flowers…smelled very nice ! Maybe, the spring is just around corner….. JJJ
