I am still Number 1 !!!

Talk to the paw Alfa....talk to the paw! She is always on and on about how many sales she made on her time to blog. Well baby, now it's my turn to purr....

On Monday a local customer, that we had done some flute repairs for in the past, came in and bought our Yamaha flute YFL311 with the solid silver headjoint. The lady's daughter was very happy and was looking forward to putting it to use, playing Christmas carols in Howick.

On Tuesday another local customer that had purchased a trumpet and alto sax before, bought our Yamaha YAS 62 Silver plated Alto Sax for herself.

On Thursday a gentleman from the UK tried out and bought our beautiful B & S Baritone Sax. He made a huge sound on it and to me he looked a little like Santa. Lucky Santa!!! He is flying back to the UK tomorrow and will leave his saxophone here. His plan is to live here for 6 months and the UK for 6 months and have instruments in both countries. Sounds cool to me.

On Saturday our Trumpet, YTR4325G which hadn't been here long found a new home on the North Shore and finally our Vito Bass Clarinet has found a cool home in Wellington.....so Alfa, I am as usual, NUMBER 1 !

Now for things arriving. This week we saw more of our famous Gonzalez reeds arrive from Argentina. Sales for these reeds have been getting stronger and stronger all the time. We also received more saxophone pads from Italy and more instruments from Japan. A French Horn with a screw on bell arrived as well as a saxophone. Both will be ready for sale, early in the new year.

Shoko and daddy have been so busy in the workshop. There are instruments stacked to the ceiling. The main focus on repairs have been warranty repairs/service and repairs to many many clarinets. This coming week is a short one because Christmas Day is on Thursday and Boxing Day is on Friday. So Daddy and Shoko are busy with repairs and Mummy is busy with invoicing, packing, shipping etc. You got the picture.

It's time for me to go. I have been a good girl all year, so Kitty Santa will be good to me J Alfa has been Alfa so maybe not much for her. Daddy is now getting ready to play with the Howick Brass Band as they perform Carols by Candle light at 8.15 on Stockade Hill in Howick. I would like to say Merry Christmas from Daddy, Mummy, Shoko, me and Alfa. Hope Santa is good to you and you all done eat too much. Listen to what I say Alfa..... MERRY CHRISTMAS  J J J
