It’s been a bit chaos here at DR TOOT. Lots of customers
(including two customers from UK and New Caledonia…..ummmm, international DR TOOT
J) visited us this week
and also heaps of instruments have arrived from schools.
One day, I sneaked into the workshop somehow and saw the
mountain of instruments there….Whattaaaaa !
I am not exaggerating….I am not like daddy or Zara, so I do not
exaggerate J
The workshop is now full of instruments and more instruments will be arriving
here during next a couple of weeks. We will be having an extremely busy summer at
DR TOOT !
Monday, our pre-loved trombone has found a new house here in
Auckland. Mother of the new owner came
here to collect it from us. We are sure that he will be happy with the trombone
!
Friday, two Yamaha wooden clarinets have found new owners.
One of them has left for Dury, and another one has found a new home in Dunedin
on Trade Me. Then, Saturday, one of pre-loved alto saxophones, which arrived
from Japan just the other day, has already found a new home in Christchurch.
She is leaving here tomorrow….ummm, it was a short stay at DR TOOT for her J The saxophone was less
than a year old and a newish Yamaha current model YAS280.
Also, another gorgeous Yamaha trumpet YTR4325G has arrived
from Japan. The same day, we have
received a brand new latest Seles “Presence” Bb clarinet by Selmer Paris from
France directly. It’s a very stylish clarinet…just like me JJJ
Yesterday, it was a long day for me and by big sis Zara….because
daddy had two concerts (afternoon & evening) with Auckland Wind Orchestra
(AWO) in Howick. Shoko played the flute too….she is a really good flute player
! Mummy went to see the evening concert with her friend. Then, some guests came
to our house after the concert for drinks and nibbles. Zara and I stayed in
mummy & daddy’s bed room…yes, every year, this time of year it happens….until
after midnight. Then, we went to our bedroom downstairs….so, we were both very sleepy
today. It was raining and windy today, so we stayed inside and slept most of
the day anyway J
Well, time to go…another busy week ahead of us. As a PA of
mummy, I have to keep in form myself….I need a plenty of sleep, so I am going
back to bed now….meow meow meow !!!
